Ravello Bar & Grill

Hey guys! I haven't made a blog post in some time and I definitely thought this experience was blog worthy.
Earlier this month, Ravello Bar & Grill opened up in the heart of Uptown Whittier at 6746 Greenleaf Ave. Whittier, CA 90601. I received an e-mail from their team asking if I'd like to dine in..... OF COURSE! I was basically stalking their website and menu prior to the opening date and I just couldn't wait to taste what sounded so amazing.
My husband and I arrived last night for our 5:30pm reservation and was seated immediately. The first thing I noticed was the humongous (and gorgeous) bar and that the Dodger's game was on. The tables and chairs were so beautiful and comfortable as well. Eva was our waitress and she was very helpful with deciding on choices of food and beverage. Shortly after ordering, the owner, Michael came over to the table to greet my husband and I. He told us a little bit about his journey through Italy and the concepts for food that he brought back based off his experiences. I really would love nothing more than to see this place flourish. Enough with the chit chat, here's what you've been waiting for.. dun dun dun
FOOD!
We started with their breads, a warm soft read and a crispy lavash. Plus butter, an olive spread and balsamic vinaigrette.
La Mora Collins - Barrel aged devil's cut, blackberries, lemon, cane and soda
Margherita pizza from the wood fire oven. DELICIOUS!
Prosciutto wrapped shrimp, OH MY GOSH.. These were AMAZING!
Penne with arrabiata sauce and spicy sausage
A little red wine to go with the main course
Cedar plank salmon with broccolini and roasted red potatoes. So much flavor!
Pumpkin cheesecake with candied pecans and a caramel glaze
Tiramisu - SO GOOD! This was my absolute favorite!!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone over at Ravello for the amazing service and food. My husband and I will definitely be back for another date night!
Cheers!
